Show us that 100-watt smile — Tyra Banks is coming back to play Eve in Life-Size 2.
The smizing supermodel has confirmed she would reprise her role in the Life-Size sequel currently in development, Variety reports. She will also executive produce the TV film.
Banks says if all goes as planned, Disney will likely aim for a "holiday 2016" release.
"It’s a very precious project to the Disney Channel so they’ve been
doing a lot of re-writes and making sure that this script is really
right," she tells Variety. "I’m really excited about it. I think Life-Size
is so popular that it can be a feature film because it has such a cult
following, so I’m really interested to see what the ratings are going to
do for that. I think it’s going to be a blockbuster on TV.”
The 2000 Disney Channel film starred Banks as Eve, a doll that
accidentally comes to life after a spell is cast by a young girl named
Casey (played by Lindsay Lohan). Casey teaches Eve what it's like to
live in the real world, while Eve teaches the young girl how to shine
bright and be a star.
Banks recently made headlines when she announced that her long-running series America's Next Top Model would end after its current season. She also recently announced that she is leaving her chair as host of daytime talk show The Fab Life, but plans to stay on as executive producer.
Well, all the more time to prepare for Life-Size 2.
