Excited: But Klopp is not getting carried away
Jurgen Klopp delivered a verdict on Liverpool’s six-goal supershow at Southampton that will have Premier League rivals shuddering - “It was good, but we’ve still got an awful long way to go,” writes Mirror Football's David Maddock.
The German has brought to Anfield a killer instinct to go with that killer smile - with Liverpool winning at Chelsea, Manchester City and Southampton since his arrival.
A slow, steady start has been followed by a run of seven wins in eight matches, with some Liverpool fans daring to dream of a title challenge.
But Klopp, despite building a head of steam at Anfield, has urged fans not to get carried away.

“I don’t think about this,” he said of a title run.
“People can talk about this but we just have to play football.
“We don’t have any ideas yet about where we can get to – it’s a fantastic football club and everyone here loves working at this club and everything is really good.
“But you need to have luck with injuries to be challenging, so we can’t get carried away and look too far forward – we are only in sixth place.
“That is all we look at and that is what football is all about. We know we can get better, and we know there is still a long way to go.”

Clinical: Sturridge netted two on his return to action
Daniel Sturridge has been hailed as "world-class" by Liverpool teammate Adam Lallana, following his showing at Southampton, writes Mirror Football's Alex Richards.
In his first start for the Reds under Jurgen Klopp, following questions over his mentality in light of his injury troubles, Sturridge responded with a brilliant double at St. Mary's.
Now Lallana is hoping that the England forward can keep himself fit, after showing why he's rated so highly by his Anfield colleagues.
"He showed exactly what he's about and why we want him back and in the team," said Lallana, speaking to Liverpool's official website.
"He's massive for us, he's a world class player.
"Within ten minutes he finished two brilliant chances and we're in the lead after a sloppy start."

Redknapp: Klopp has "sprinkled magic dust"

Jamie Redknapp says Jurgen Klopp has "sprinkled magic dust" over Liverpool's players - and there is no limit to what they can achieve, writes Mirror Football's Aaron Flanagan.
The 6-1 win over Southampton makes it seven wins from eight games in all competitions for Klopp - including dominant away wins at Chelsea and Manchester City.
Redknapp has revealed his amazement at the reborn Reds, insisting that he does not recognise half of the team.
Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: "The whole club is buzzing, he seems to have a magic wand, and he's come in and seems to have sprinkled magic dust on everyone, because they all look like completely different players."
He continued: "To come here and produce that kind of performance was incredible. It's a very good Southampton side. With no Coutinho, no Firmino.
"At the moment there's no limit to what Liverpool can do. I have been blown away by what he has achieved so far. They have been absolutely brilliant to watch."
